Mika Creative is led by designer Sara Bailey who has been passionate about the intersection between design + technology and its impact on people since graduating with a Becd (Bachelor of Electronic Communication Design) from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada.
Sara has consulted with a wide variety of clients, including non-profit associations, companies, advertising agencies & interactive teams, including groups like Tribal DDB, Blast Radius and Cossette. She led the creation of an experiential multi-touch exhibit at the 2010 Winter Olympics, that showcased the best of BC’s digital media industry. Prior to that she worked with SONY and a team of social science researchers studying how people create and share media. She loves all aspects of design – from branding new non-profits to designing mobile social media apps – and works to develop creative strategies from an organisations business goals and values. She was named Designer of the Year at the Canadian New Media awards.
